1. Please provide a summary of what you’ve learned? We learned about chromosomes disorders and how they effect you in your genetics. I also learned a lot about Alzheimer’s happens in your chromosomes which was interesting because Alzheimer's runs in my family.2. What is different between a chromosomal mutation and a gene mutation? A gene mutation is a permanent change in the DNA, a chromosome mutation is a change in the structure of the chromosomes. 3. How do changes in DNA affect protein? One base pair is replaced with a different incorrect one. 4.How can human genome project help our understanding of diseases? It gives people awareness of the diseases and we can prevent them if we understand how it works. Reflection 6#
Hydroplanning I think hydroplaning would be the best option because BC has lot’s of fresh water and rivers, it is very reliable because it is always accessible in BC. Unlike solar or wind power because it’s not always windy or sunny. another good thing about it has no pollution so it doesn’t damage the environment. reflection 5#
1) What evidence of climate change does Al Gore present in the video? He showed howe much the carbon dioxide has increased in the last couple decades and how that matches up with the temperature increase. He also showed how the arctic is melting because there is to much green house gases. 2) What are the potential causes? The causes are human expansion of the green house gases. 3) What are the consequences? loss of sea ice, sea level rises dramatically and longer heat waves. |
